So now I've got to figure out how to settle either the weekend of Feb 9th or the 16th, get the place painted and minor work done (specifically floor trim), and move in either the weekend of the 16th or if need be the 23rd. If I settle the 16th, moving will be especially hard. I think I'll try and settle the 9th.

Any advice on painters? Any advice on movers or how to rope your friends into moving stuff?
