Got spanked by a pushy judge. I submit items double-sided, which seems justified in the USGov where they're always encouraging reducing paper use, double sided, recycling...this judge rejected a large submission and asked for it again single sided "because I can't flip through things in a hearing." Right, it's so bloody hard to turn the page and look at it as opposed to turn the page and look at the next. Twit. Ever seen a book? I try to work my beliefs into my work place, and these particular beliefs are supported by countless issuances from multiple levels and agencies, but still I run into this kind of wasteful attitude.

No I wouldn't risk anything like this in the private sector. Government also affords me more protected rights of expression and religious accommodation than I might receive elsewhere. Remember I used to report to duty with a purple "mohawk."

Not a hot day in the gym yesterday. My bench has actually decreased slightly, while everything else seems to be increasing. I'm also not getting taller.

Oh shit. They were squirrels. Babies. They could be live-caught. I did not have to kill them. They were poisoned with something that would make them seek out water, so they would have died anyway - but the exterminator thought they were rats based on their poop. He did live catch one, the dad, but thinking they poisoned based on his diagnosis of "roof rats." The poison was to drive them out to die outside and not stink up the walls. They would have died anyway. I hope. Now we are going 100% live trap, and I bitched out the manager for letting the exterminator put poison up there without consulting me. He didn't want me to know because I stated I didn't want killing. Great. But I killed squirrels, baby squirrels.
