vicarzOh shit. They were squirrels. Babies. They could be live-caught. I did not have to kill them. They were poisoned with something that would make them seek out water, so they would have died anyway - but the exterminator thought they were rats based on their poop. He did live catch one, the dad, but thinking they poisoned based on his diagnosis of "roof rats." The poison was to drive them out to die outside and not stink up the walls. They would have died anyway. I hope. Now we are going 100% live trap, and I bitched out the manager for letting the exterminator put poison up there without consulting me. He didn't want me to know because I stated I didn't want killing. Great. But I killed squirrels, baby squirrels.
