NO FUCKING WAY!!!

I've wanted this forever...no one ever seemed to know of a song called escalator of life. This I heard around the same time as kraftwerk's showroom dummies...when I was a stoner in g'burg. I had no idea where you found out about stuff like this, and I was years away from showing up in Poseurs.

I'm still bombing the bar, it's amazing. However, in a panic I have to change course. I don't know enough law to do the exam. The "program" is about 1 hour of study for 8 hours of test drills...but I'm not learning a damn thing beause i'm always trying to do drills and not learning. Yesterday I did a contract section, got about 19/37. I studied the material all over again, did some flashcards, and did another section. 20/37.

Today I not only got 5/17 on a torts section (easy stuff) but I actually did the wrong part of the book. Flailing. I work from 6am until 11pm every fucking day and I'm still failing. There aren't enough hours in the day to pass - I'm just too damn stupid (now measurably so).

But the gym is being good to me, the mirror too (shame about the face) and I can just drink and regress into what I wish the 80s were...

D00d, I totally remember that song! Wow...college days again. Sniff. Maybe they'll play it at Heaven tonight.

Yup. Speaking of...I wonder how many people realize that the songs they like from their favorite stars were rarely if ever written by them? I wonder how this guy went from making music to writing it for other pop stars, or how common that is. I think I like his song better than Cyndi Lauper
