Last night I stopped by the house, and ran into Jordan there!
1. Paint colors, finished.
2. Brick wall - he did an acid-wash test and it's gorgeous, so now we have a brick wall color which best brings out the contrast between the brick and the mortar. If it doesn't match the living room - so be it. The only decision now is more satin final finish or a shinier gloss.
3. Details - I didn't mention the details he puts in without anyone asking. The friggin closets have moulding (not molding spellcheck, moulding exists) and trim on the INSIDE. I have a closet-living friendly house - what were the odds.
4. Tile - the stuff I saw and was pissed off about? It was only meant for the laundry room and closets - just done enough to not look dirty right away. Oops! Happy about that. However I am on a mission to look for tile, something of good quality, but without lines running long-ways as the house is already long, so think rock/granite patterns.
5. Floors, we looked over gaps not filled in and quality issues with the floors upstairs.
