Nov. 12th, 2015 07:57 amMinor update because writing this out makes me feel goodish:
Stopped by the house on vet day, after the gym, with the intention of going from there to the tile store...but ran into Jordan again who noted the tile store was closed. He also recommended Morris Tile, discouraged HD as a waste of time for poor selection and meh quality (but good prices, and some good quality), and botique shops as being too pricey.
They JUST poured the new stairs to the bottom unit. That'll make visiting it better. To view the space I climbed through the window as the front entrance is still "a hole." Not much going on that I can see but they are working - it's patching mortar, the stairs, cutting the door hole, and framing.
Did I mention that they put moulding and trim inside the closets? Everywhere I look I see signs of quality - my Arlington apt. doesn't have inside-the-closet framing.
The marble is going up in the master shower - it's stupid gorgeous.
I need to get off my duff and make time to view tile options for the kitchen.
