Jan. 3rd, 2014 05:49 pmHonestly still fighting the end of the flu. Trying to balance being gym-responsible with get-the-fuck-better responsible. Not sure how I'm doing.
Today was mostly success on the re-caulk mission. Removing the caulk was stunningly easy; far easier than the old stuff I scraped off. I didn't destroy any clothes getting the new stuff on, but I wore old clothes just in case. I didn't get the new stuff on 100% perfect, but it's mostly perfect and mildew resistant for 6 years in theory so it should be fine. Next, finish grouting and seal it all.
I am trying to get stuff moving on the new home, but without access yet it's a bit of a problem. DC is full of regs, licenses, and paperwork - but they are pretty good about website information on most issues and other people pick up the torch to make information easy to find too.
I'm worried I've taken on more than I realized or the costs are higher than I thought.
EK this weekend for the first time in ages though.
