Feb. 6th, 2012 08:04 amI hope I'm not that person - the person this morning who was loudly declaring she didn't even know the superbowl was on. Look, I am borderline proud I'm so weird I don't like watching most sports; however, I also am not LYING or feigning ignorance of an event that is broadcat on every type of media. Imagine not KNOWING if the superbowl was on. Lady you got your choice, you're either as insane as a homeschooler or lying because you think that is impressive somehow.
I knew the puppy bowl was on.
Yesterday I failed at my lift again - only getting 3 squats at 385 out when I was supposed to hit 5. I think what may be happening is my form is better on the light weights and I was only going parallel or less on my big ones. Or my stamina just sucks (I have picked up sprints again). Yesterday I was going into the bucket as this guy 3 racks over was taking 315 way down into the grass; buy beside me doing box squats at 315 or more. It was big-guy day in the gym (big weight day maybe - they didn't look like human mountains).
Today I am SORE AS HELL so while I felt lame about my lift, at least I know I worked. Something happend and I'll be stronger for it. Form, never stop revisiting it. Tai Chi weightlifting!
