Feb. 8th, 2012 07:18 amThe guy who walked up and talked to me about gloves, whom I told about 5/3/1, talked to me again yesterday. He had looked up the program online! This is sadly very unusual - both in person and online most people just assume they know best and only listen long enough to snicker about how wrong everyone is that doesn't follow their preachers. So that was cool (and I'm kicking myself for not asking his name, intros, shit like that which I think normal people do with that whole social skill thing?) I did hit all my weights though, and now to my joy can do 5 sets of 10 pull ups (uh, the overland grip thingys) almost easy depending on the length of the breaks. I kinda felt bad for the bigger guy who could barely do 5, but I wasn't going to change up my workout just to worry about how he looked.
Social conservatives freak me the fuck out. Still, with the insanity at least I'm not stuck in Africa, the middle east, or anywhere but azn or euro-like places that hate freedom, women, and homos less.
I just realized my searches from USAJobs were not moved to the new usajobs site (how did I not notice the lack of postings!?) and found the perfect 14/15 labor attorney job open at PTO again. I didn't even think about applying - no question it's more money, but this whole working at home 3 days a week, picking my hours including hangover late start flexibility, working the office around my gym program, wearing wash-n-wear pants with mock turtlenecks as formal office attire, and being well established throughout the Agency...why would I leave? For $300 more a month? Not today it seems.
Actually I'm drinking a lot less. I should get back on the drinking.
