Sep. 29th, 2009 07:35 amIt's about time to get your charity money in before the end of the tax year. To my great surprise, the charity I love to hate, Capital Area Food Bank, is not as awful as my experience led me to believe. Charity navigator gave them 3/4 stars

I've always hated them as being more into fundraising than into helping anyone. Despite the fact that for one measley $50 donation I have received physical spam from them 1-3 times a week for every week for the last 5 years or more...they only show a fundraising amount of 6%, admin expenses of 3.2%.
Now do I have more faith in them, or less in charity navigator?
WED IS CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN DAY AT http://www.artfullychocolate.com/index.htm
I will be there, though not necessarily at 6pm a punto nor necessarily rubbing my fruit in the fountain.
