Feb. 16th, 2009 05:20 pmSick again, Dr's office I was sent to isn't taking new patients, not in the mood to look up an N.Arl Dr right now. Have sunk to drastic measures.
Came home today, after working a few hours on the holiday (after snagging a half-price MALM), to find the apt 64 deg. The problem I spent $500 not fixing on friday (or was that thur) returned again. It's 5:16 and I'm still waiting to hear from the heat pump fellows.
On the plus side of electronics, I opened the tv-computer to check if the fans were running (it always starts after lying dormant, but would die after 15 mins to an hour). I wiggled pieces and it has now worked for more than 2 hours 3 times with no crashes in-between. Yet. I might still sell this thing (with full disclosure of maybe issues) and get another with dvi and/or more sophisticated tv-out. I may also try to bop a cheap but better than on-board graphics card in it.
