DUN DUN DUN - DA-DUN
Work is work.
DUN DUN DUN - DA-DUN...
Boring.
Heat broke, $500 to not fix it, $2,200 to not replace it by not showing up.
Huge political fights at work. I'm fighting, but very politely.
Entire branch had individual meetings with 4 levels of management going over each and every case. Oddly, they didn't tell us what the meetings were for. Lucky for me I keep my cases charted in spreadsheets and have a memory for important things. Sometimes. I was able to rock that session, and led the one talking about problems with the division. Did I lose or gain - unknown, but I showed great work competence. I think they fell for it.
Was sick all damn week, seem to be better now - but it's been off and on sick for ages, never a fever, just dumb symptoms consistent with sniffing a regurgitating slug into my sinus cavities, having him die and start to decompose, but not stop regurgitating. Have a dr's appt tomorrow - going anyway so I can talk about this pattern and ask about my bizarre unhappy arm.
Have much office work to do, no time to do it. Am doing stuff, but no brain left for you. No fun stories to share.
