So I have nothing of substance to add to the foray, but that won't stop me from posting in my LJ!

The state of VA continues to make it a living shame to be part of this tax-base (I tried to vote out the trash that was on my ballot): http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=817&e=6&u=/ap/low_riding_pants You see the only dropped the bill because it was gathering INTERNATIONAL LAUGHTER. Yes, not only is the US so insane the world laughs at them (when they're not being invaded) but this state in particular stands out.

It's rather amusing to see an Ohio Supreme Court Justice argue with her arresting officer over DUI charges. Since she refused to take the brethalyzer test, Justice Resnick will automatically lose her license for one year and faces up to six months in jail and a $1000 fine. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050206/ap_on_re_us/justice_arrested_1

Police Video: http://www.daytondailynews.com/localnews/content/localnews/resnickvideo.html (requires registration, so no I haven't seen it either since I don't register for sights). She runs on saying "My God, you know I decide all these cases in your favor. And my golly, look what you're doing to me." She's pushing the age-old "US" vs. "THEM" argument that is so common in US politics. You see, many of our laws are designed to isolate and punish people unlike the majority (you know, like faggots and dem colored) for things the majority may or may not do. Crack is very illegal, coke only so-so. So here is someone who punishes drunk drivers about 3 times the nutty limit, 2 times a more realistic limit for intoxication - arguing essentially that she is 'one of them' and otherwise exempt from the law.

Politically unfortunate note: she's the only democrat on the court.

and I'm going to go to a happy hour in a week or so with people from my HS.

Holy. Shit. So, I'm agreeing to hit a happy hour with HS class of 86 - and I went through my piles and found that packrat that I am, I still had my yearbook. I also had letters from the 8th grade, and a rock I remember picking up in the 6th grade. I don't keep much, uh but yes I do. Nice thing about being in shape - I have no fear of seeing anyone. I look and am doing great - wonder how I'd feel if things were different.

I ran into pictures of um...several ex's. I have dated some beautiful muddafuggin women. Wow. I mean really beautiful. True to history, looking at the picture of my ex-fiance still makes my something skip a beat. It turns out Larry Bradby took pictures of another ex, Fria. Pictures...wow they go right through me. Me...and my girlfriend...and my MULLET!!! I really really really need to get my verizon account figured out so I can post pictures - they're a friggin hoot. Man...blue eye shadow! Big hair! Afros kinda! Leotards!

You can tell what a HS geek I was by the huge spaces between the few people who signed my yearbook. My girlfriend Kelly filled a page. Most of the others were thanking me for advice...it seems I've been a preacher longer than I realized. I saw a picture of my gym teacher Mr. Joyce...it's odd, I still quote the experience I had - I was able to do as many push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups as the real jocks...and was being all cocky about it. He told me to shut up, that I was half the size of them so I would have to do twice as many. I never forgot that, and never stopped trying to top people regardless of size.

I'm supposed to go to Apex tonight, and I ws going to go if I got enough schoolwork done. I'm not so sure I'm getting much done tonight.
