vicarzMy mom has mostly unexpectedly rolled in to stay for a few days.
Curiously her announcement of arrival left me trying to make the neglected place look the least bit less neglected. Sadly, at 6:30 am it only took 15-30 minutes to make the worst offenses, the long-hanging-dry laundry and dustbunnies buffaloes in the kitchen and bathroom, vanish. For all the time I spent thinking "man this place looks horrible - can't wait until I have time to do something about it," while I can't say the place is in good shape, it didn't take long to make it 72% less humiliating.
Sure I worked all day - but I worked with open windows and shorts.
HOLY SHIT EDITED - how did eljay determine to tag that post with "Mood=flirty" !? Da hell?
