vicarzIt's really tacky to talk about money. I wanna do it.
It's kind of neat, I have more money than I ever have lumped together in my life. I mean real money, not the 6 figures the stock market pretended I had during the tech bubble. I could buy a mercedes with cash - not a mercedes suv or a really nice one, but a mercedes. To me that's friggin amazing.
I know to some of my friends it's incredibly stupid to have money that hasn't been used. I know other friends of mine will wonder why I care, as they already got their mercedes for HS graduation...you trust fund sucking little shits. This is just my situation, my work, my sacrifices, with me and my life being the only bases for comparison.
I don't celebrate much, but at the moment I am. I don't mark dates, graduations, things like that. I don't have many points where I turned around and felt good about some accomplishment. Often I just compare it out or switch to the next goal.
Well, I'm rolling around naked in cash right now. Tacky. Immature. Materialistic. Still, I feel like it's ok to be silly once in a while. This is my birthday, my graduation, this is how I am marking an arbitrary point in my journey.
