Anyone want to hear about my Diablo items?

Yesterday in the gym (my only other topic)
Huge guy (6'9"? and very muscular) was with almost-as-huge-guy friend. He does a lot of "big muscle" bodybuilder type work, but uses good form and is a fuck-ton stronger than me, typically doing reps with more than my max (though not real freeweight work).

Near the end of my workout he was doing shoulder shrugs in the rack next to me, with about 100 lbs more. However, he did it hunched over - it looked wrong to me, but he was doing big weight so...I asked him if he minded a dumb question (I seem to speak in caveats) and asked if he got the twingy thing I did when he did them. I have recently learned to puff my chest out and look forward to keep from getting that shoulder twinge...but the downside is the bar then rubs on my front which means I'm not lifting it as much.

He said it may actually be the neck, and asked if my chin was up or down. I had to think about it, and noted it was up - ah-ha, he pointed out that when your chin is up it puts pressure on the top of your spine! Ah-ha I said, thanked him for the idea, and did my last set with my chin down.
BLAMMO - that was the problem. Chin down, there was no twinge or hint it was coming, the bar could hang free from my body, and I was better isolating the shoulders as I wanted. All this time I've been doing it wrong, yeesh. I told Mr. Big Guy thanks - he just helped me diagnose something.

His friend then said my t-shirt was cool, leading to a conversation about metalocalypse between us smaller guys to explain it to Mr. Big...

As usual, big guys are generally nice - or I wish I had learned 20 years ago to be nice myself and smile more, rather than being paranoid because if you're always trying to look badass and/or scowl, people don't react to you as well. Who whuddah thunk it.

I'm also getting close to washboardy again, only now with more meaty muscles. Neato.

I <3 my Diablo pants. But with the new patch coming soon why bother farming? New items will be better in most all cases and old items will not be grandfathered in. Going back to TF2 for a bit. Might even get me a panda just for kicks

You'll either need gold to buy the new items, or good items to farm the new items. You may not want to farm for things that will be nerfed by comparison to the new awesome-ubers, but if you try to run with a1 inferno gear to get them...how likely will it be that you'll find any?

Also, beside the pooting pants of deadly, the resurrected goldskin is going to blow the doors off existing gf and devalue gold even quicker than a room of slave-bots in china...

Everything in my AH bucket is now mostly worthless. Playing a little every day and I only have 4M gold. My gear isn't quiet enough for actIII so I farm actI inferno because actII I can't stack the MF & GF.

Based on what I read even normal yellows are getting boosted and with the difficulty drop farming AIII will be way easier... the 100M AH gear will only get worse. arg. They need new content or an unending pit, the repetition will kill the game soon.

It is one item for ActIII and less then the 5M-10M for a lot of legendaries.

Time is money. Legendaries are, as noted, worthless right now. However, picking the right stats you can get a DH to a3 inf for 3-4 mil total if you hunt and peck for items.

Hit youtube for videos on how / builds etc.
