I warned Kat that if things continue on this trend I would definitely have to leave Richmond (though it is a dark purple) and maybe the state altogether. Now she is worried--I have a job interview in NYC near the end of May. ...of course, I also think of Psyche, because I have an *odd* trepidation that we may see a massive swing back toward the right--a bad economy, continued wars, decreased in social programs and education at the state level, and then the Right mucking about with this bandaid proposal...we could be in for some serious suck...with a sandpaper tongue and razor teeth.
