Is there really a need for a Ipod to cassette tape insert converter?"
(ok cd, mp3, OR ipod...)

I admittedly still use one.

I feel silly still playing cds. Somehow in the last few years I lost the urge to buy any music.

I still use one too. My first mp3 player had an fm transmitter installed but if I was driving in the city, the radio bands were too crowded and I got a lot of static and interference. Worked better in more rural areas. But no matter where I was driving, the sound quality was much better with the cassette tape adapter. I'm bummed that newer cars seem to be abandoning cassette decks. At the least, my next car will have one of those input jacks so I can plug my mp3 player into that. I didn't care for the fm transmitters.

I used one until the cassette deck in the Escort finally died. (And I had to replace the adapter about once a year because they're all shite.) I just got one of those FM transmitter ones, and the sound quality is not nearly as good.
