vicarzI have nothing to say but an urge to say it so...welcome to the internet.
Yesterday some twat/jackass put out an all hands email saying that while we have a casual friday, that didn't mean shorts, skirts, t-shirts, flip-flops...I actually got dressed this AM in shorts and a t-shirt (flops by the door) but changed my mind before I left. A girl I know at work is wearing shorts ("they're capris!") and flip-flops today...good for her. I'll do it sometime when there are more people here. I actually changed my mind because making points isn't as important to me as when I was 20 (when was that, a couple years ago?) and I would just be pointlessly cold all day.
I've decided as much as this sucks I should stay in this line of work at at least this level for 5 years, which is to say 3 more years. I'm applying for jobs, but not for ones that are a step down in terms of difficulty even if they pay the same.
Booked a flight to Vienna Austria again. Woot!
I bought this before it sold out.
Going to b'more gay pride this weekend - got my rainbow-laced boots and everything. Not sure how gay to be with my (not)gay girlfriend. "Yay! Supportive! Fun party! Uh, kinda sorta gay in theory if not practice right now! Would have my shirt off about 5 degrees warmer and 5 lbs less flubby!"
The white supremacist who shot the security guard who held the door for him at the holocaust museum ... had child porn on his computer.
