Town was friggin awesome last night, but I guarantee my night was better than yours. I was talking to someone and saw a hot girl doing a hot dance out of the corner of my eye...so I turned to check her out - and it was my girlfriend. Oh. Yeah.

Hmmm... I did not look across a crowded gothics club and see a chick dancing and think how lucky I was that she was my girlfriend rather I played Softball with a bunch of very cool, intelligent, conversational, supportive music industry folk in league play and hit two singles then hung out in the lovely weather at the spacious park tossing the ball around and discussing things until the sun went down.

So, if I switched out "just seeing my hot boyfriend across a crowded dancefloor" and then compared it to meeting new people, having great collaborative conversation and getting nice weather outdoor exercise.

Hate to do it dude but... yeah, I think my night was better than your's :D

Glad you had a good one tho! No need to compete ;)

I'll choose wonder and intimacy over extroverted networking any night. Since I came and left with the hot boy dancing at Town, then we walked the Memorials to pay our respect at 0200 and then, well, more wonder and intimacy when we got home, I'll have to say, in that, I , too, win!

Cheers to something deeper! And the Hotness :P

You might be better served by saving the competitive superior attitude for the courtroom.

I'm glad that you're happy. I don't believe happiness is a zero sum game.

Agreed. It was an odd way to put that - but I'm so not used to being happy that I need more practice at articulating such feelings. I was happy, very.

By the way ran up to talk to you the other night in town, after many drinks, but the girl with the pink hair in the blue corset was not you. Mixing timelines, peripheral vision, and drinks made it possible in José-land...
