Holy shit Baltimore is just an amazing club scene. A nice space, good music, an interesting crowd...and name-brand drinks for $2.50? Yeesh. Hard to leave on time.

Morning edit: There were about a half dozen DC ex-pats up there. The music started with hard industrial - you could tell because Michie was on the floor. It eased up and slipped into the synthy realms, but still thew in a good mix generally. It's funny that a song from TKK or ministry from the late 80s/early 90s still packs a floor as much as basement jaxx. I spent most of the night talking with new and old friends - lots of lamenting on the part of DC ex-pats that we don't have spaces like this anymore. I am talking about doing a 2-day marathon with some folks to hit Orpheus fri, pal around Sat, then electroshok that night. The drive home is a KILLER, but on the bright side on my way out of the city I filled up the tank at $2.09/gal.

I think I need ... It's been a long time but every time I drive into baltimore I start staring at the hospital where my dad died. I can't have the whole fucking city stuck with that status, but that's how I feel. It worked for Poe...
