Ok this 4 in the morning shit is really getting old. What? No drama, not eating late, less caffiene, less booze, lots of exercise but not too late, not napping to fill in the gaps...so why do I keep waking up before 4 in the morning?

What time do you typically get to sleep? I'm typically in deep sleep at that hour unless I have some nagging problem keeping me from the good sleep.

Well I'm not saying I don't have issues :) but they seem quiet right now. My normal schedule is to crash around 10 and get up at 5:30. I'm crashing at the right time, or maybe 9:30 knowing I'm behind in my sleep, but then waking at 3.

Maybe it is because I slept with the windows open - I could have been woken up by a noise and not remembered what woke me up. I don't usually have the windows open...but I like the windows open!

the player controlling your sim keeps clicking you while you're in bed and saying "wake up" - and then walking away from the computer to do other things, leaving you feeling full of sleep but not knowing what action to take next?

/I play too much sims2

I can't fall asleep before midnight and then have problems waking for work. Fortunately i still make it to the office before my boss on most days.

for me it's the season. the fall is actually my most productive season work-wise... also, i'm living with someone who's a catalyst for thought, so we end up rapid-talking and then running around before bedtime, then crashing at a much later hour than we should be crashing.

actually, everyone's a catalyst right now. maybe i'm bipolar and undiagnosed.

You are waking up early due to the lack of drama and alcohol. With these two crucial things lacking in day to day life you just aren't as tire. There problem solved! Add back the drama and alcohol! Yay!

Actually there are two valid points being made that could be doing this: 1-video games right before bed don't allow your brain to shut off as it should. 2-Change of seasons means the amount of light at 4 AM is now different than it was in the early Summer.

Oops! That was supposed to be tired.
We actually have "blackout curtains" in our room now for better sleeping! Places like KMart sell the curtains. A set is like 60 dollars. Or liners for 30.
