That's right - I just outed myself as a HUGE NERD in my workplace. This...this is why I love working for the government. Sure I don't get paid - but WAH, my work drag is a frat-boy's party gear, and I can cite Herbert for my proselytizing efforts.

OK, I love you even more for doing that. That's much better than the time I was a combination drunken hag and giant nerd one time when this guy and I were flirting ferociously under the guise of arguing about music. I defended TMBG on aesthetic grounds, then brought up Ween. When he retorted, "FUCK Ween!" and proceeded to spew a bunch of Southeastern PA scenester bile, when I interrupted him with a sarcastically pitched, "Tell me of your home world, Usul!" He nearly threw his beer at me. I don't know if he was madder that he knew the reference, thus outing himself, or that a girl he thought was hot enough to hit on several times and argue about music with was such a huge dork.
