I like that at 8pm the "sun is up."

I was talked down to by the woman who attacked me last week, but for once she was the same to not one, but two black females. God, politics. I have to realize my choice of fighting, sucking up, trying to skirt under the radar, or leaving, is ultimately mine and I'm well aware of the choices I'm making. Suffice to say, I've resigned myself to my fate. I could fight more, I don't.

One of my inspirations, a former big-law virgin islands native, talked to me about how marketable I am in law firms. On the other hand, he's just a GS-15 with the same background. Do I hear his words or his actions? I don't trust this cunt at work, but I am learning a metric ton from her. No matter how I do the math, it always comes out with me ahead in this job for at least a year or 20. But remind me, no I have to remember myself, I choose this.

I'm working with my mom to try and schedule a charity trip with habitat for humanity intl. Sure I lift weights and have super hot boobies, but if I can use them to build a home for someone in need - now that is cool. However, it is getting difficult to find such an opportunity that is in a stable country with safe water (well that's the point isn't it). Willing to work, but not interested in disease, parasites, kidnapping of touristas, or civil unrest. Anyone notice any good ideas / bad ideas from the list referenced here? We're trying to do something in central to south Amer.

Thailand or New Zealand should be gorgeous, but the airfare will be expensive (and the flights long). Vermont in May/June is also beautiful. I would love to go to Chile too, though I don't know what the weather is like at that time of year.

You can weather.com for the weather - Chile (which is where we decided to go before our trip was cancelled) is in the mid-60s in Sep.

Yeah I'm into staying with time zones that don't screw my schedule for a month. My office job and addiction to sleep make those things difficult.

I'm still surprised you pay money to go and work for free - most of these "trips" are like a grand or 1500, to do work? Huh.

Is some of that tax-deductible? I have never made enough money to know about such things.

Bolivia might be fab too; I have been within a few miles of Bolivia (in Peru) and it was very pretty there. The only thing I know about Bolivia is that my fellow travelers said when crossing the border to Bolivia, their customs officers routinely steal from suitcases. They said to buy some extra, cheap t-shirts and put them in the top of your bag in hopes that they'll be what gets taken.

Yeah we thought about it, but we decided to do an international one. Perhaps we'll reconsider or do that later.

It sounds cool until you realize I'm going to buy a bunch of brown babies and import them to make stew. I take this protein conversion thing in the gym very seriously.

I like that at 8pm the "sun is up."

Is this some kind of euphemism?

I have friends that do that so I'll ask them, but there aren't many places that need help that bad that have good water.
