Failed. Back is still hurty from what appeared to be good deadlifts at 270, but...I feel my back, a lot, when I'm doing leg press (45 deg sled) much later. I failed yesterday, did my warmups from 360 to 450 no problem, then at 540 I got stuck and had to pull the weights while the sled was down - I couldn't get it up. I was more shocked than anything else. Now I'm pissed. I'm also taking an extra 10 secs to stand up straight.
Had an older woman in incredible shape exchange looks and then conversation with me. Would have talked to her more if I hadn't seen her do pelvic dance moves in her warmup. Looking at her was interesting to me - she was very fit, but honestly her skin was loose. She either tanned too much, lost weight, or age can really hit you. Her physique was still quite impressive and her accent was hawtness, but...no. The dood who I outdeadlifted still waves hello as I do - saw him spot his friend squatting about 400.
It appears serving on the condo board counts as pro bono time. Neat.
I'm hearing I'm kinda fucked up from multiple sources. Noted, observations appreciated, improvements attempted, failures noted. Been through a lot, but it's also been a while.
I talk a lot about my knowledge, experience, and try to teach others the lessons I've learned - but I bias towards the good news. The only reason I have any measure of success is the keep-going practice. Right now, this is my hard part.

I am finding your insights valuable and largely dead on, I also like that they are wrapped in a zesty layer of snark.
