Well the HP m8200 arrived and it's turned out to be a) not a well-thought-out plan, and b) suck mroe on the graphics side than I expected. The idea was to have something that combined the tv with the computer, but the graphics card (integrated only) has no real output. The only output is a regular computer speaker output and monitor - that hooks up to the tv sure, but I was thinking more of regular video and audio cables so it was easy to plug into the stereo. Everything else I've touched has those 3 wires that go into video & audio no problem. So, I may have to get a graphics card based purely on the ability to do output, or get some weird arrangement of cables. Plus, I have to get the computer out into the living room and set up. Huh. Poor planning.

Last night's embarrassing gym moment was doing my first set of stiffy deadlifts, making the weight, then putting the weights away and checking my sheet only to realize I was supposed to do a 2nd set. I didn't.

Tonight is an early stop to birthday, then spellbound.

sunny island warm place without xtian zealot population, old-school arcade, bar/club with friends, a recreation of that scene in alien 3 where she slides into the slimy pile of alien reproductive activities

James Clavel, Vonnegut, Herbert (Dune stuff), Hoff (Tao of Pooh stuff)

I really need to set up the computer, with furniture, and it wouldn't hurt to plow through the "guest room" and straigten out all these old files and books...stuff I would feel good if I did, but never want to do at the time.
