The 14th of Aug my dad went into the hospital, that night I went out with an old friend/girl for food. The next day he moved to the ICU. The next night you can see me here dancing in a nightclub in a tank top hiding in the back right side by the speaker. Shortly thereafter I found out how serious it was. Been there every day since, but feel a bit crumb-like for my late start visiting.

Hospital things:
Eye contact like New York - don't look in other rooms and start to lurch out of your chair to assault anyone that stares into your family member's room. "What!? Da fawk you lookin at, bitch?!"
Ignore all the signs about visiting hours and cell phones (the nurses said this is ok)
There are things you will not eat after the hospital: peanut butter, popcorn, nutty coffee...
You turn off you biology issue for the hospital, and turn it back on when leaving.
Alcohol smells awful now. It smells like whoknowswhat in a hospital. Probably clean, but nothing you'd want to ingest.
Nurses vary a great deal in terms of bedside manner and general competence.

Lost a lb then suddenly, with high exercise and no food I seem to have gained 3 lbs - from where I have no idea. I've taken a half-week off from the gym as I really strained my lumbar region. I would love to LarryCream, truffle therapy, and napoleon myself into a state...but I don't want to be ugly, sad, and fat to boot.

This is getting dull.

Unseen forces f*cking with you?

I don't think you should feel crumb-like.

You gained 3 pounds of muscle. I weighed alot more before I had E, but now I'm more fat than muscle.

I'm really sorry about your dad. I certainly understand about some nurses being better than others. That is the way it is for any person, but it really important for good medical people. I hope things get better soon.

As for looking in other people's rooms I do that when I'm walking around not because I'm looking in thier room, but for 2 reasons. I hate when the noise around is so loud so I try to turn away from noise and because I have to make sure I can see everyone around me.

You had no way of knowing things were going to get this bad honey, don't worry about what you could have been doing! You are doing great things now and thats what is important.
