Aug. 16th, 2007 03:42 amThe only thing more annoying that waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep is knowing that my urge to post about this annoyance isn't unusual on my f'list. I want to figure out what is causing this though...it's either eating or working out late in the evening, or both.

I would say definitely, yes. It's a proven fact that food and friends really help ward them off.

Date: 2007-08-17 03:39 am (UTC)When I do sleep, I'm quite dangerous. I fell down the stairs sleep walking in Africa at age 5 and busted my head open. And worse.....a few years ago I beat up my bf in bed. Gave him a bloody nose :)
I also cycle through REM much faster than most, each cycle is supposed to be 2 hours - you need the 4 full cycles, hence the standard 8 hours. I can cycle all 4 in 6 hours *once* I actual do sleep. It's just the getting to sleep that's impossible sometimes.
I should go to one of those sleep studies places and be their guinea pig.
