When I was in Nebraska, I passed through a town called "Milford." I almost drove off the road laughing, as I was about to pass an entire town of MILFs. Sure I'm a 12-year-old boy on the internet with no filter, but is that funny? It was to me.

300 sucks, so I hear. Dan Savage noted that the Bush-quoting strong men beat up the makeup-wearing boy-loving gay-looking army of pride savages. Many people I know watched the movie and liked it - anyone find a homophobic thrust, if you will, to the movie upon reflection?
Homophobic? It's Ann Coulter on a meth binge.

4 weeks of school to go. I can't believe 4 years is down to 4 weeks (what bar exam?).

Nebraska is a state that I've never been too. I'm hoping that Bush won't be around much longer so what he does and doesn't like won't matter. I sure am glad that 4 years of school is finally down to 4 weeks.

The "boy lovers" quip was aimed at the Athenians, fellow greeks, not at the Persians. It was pretty tongue in cheek as well. Most if not all of the greeks were boy lovers. Heracles and Apollo each had a boy toy. They had no problem with it as long as the man was the pitcher and the boy was the catcher.

It's defnitely an easy movie to politicize, but only because it's very idealistic and displays virtues many would like to claim. Then again, both sides tried to politicize Team America as their movie, so whatever.

I didn't find it homophobic, nor did I see any "rah rah go america" messages in it. All I saw was a bunch of incredibly attractive men dressed in very little clothing killing things.
