I know it's cliché to post "Gee, snow," but I'm not posting about the ice. No, I'm posting as a pissed-off government worker who can't believe they want everyone to report to work 2 hours late. The traffic map is just one big accident. The amount of damage and hardship they caused is insane. Of course, this is an administration that hates government workers. Now, you don't have to work - because you can use your vacation time to give the government a freebie.

Me, I took stuff home and am authorized to work at home. I dutifully work at home all the time, usually putting in more than fair 8 hours. Today, however, while I'll work, I do not promise to be so enthusiastic.

I'm really glad that you were able to stay home. You are probably the only one who puts in the real amount of time. I will say that no snow is the great thing about Florida. I will also say that the weather has been so cold that northern Florida may actually get snow.
