I don’t know all my friend’s LJ names etc, so if anyone wonders why they’re not listed or I don’t look at their stuff – it’s usually my ignorance that keeps me away. Email me and let me know. Same thing goes for not doing the return friend list thing – I don’t check it often and no bells go off to let me know when there is activity there. I should post on DCFreaks – in case anyone still looks in that place. Uh, dude Marilyn Manson is so cool and like, deep, you know? Ashcroft has a point, about those monkey immigrants. Stop denting their karma man, no one is ever wrong.

OMG every once in a while I forget how bad the other side is. I decide to see family members I haven’t seen in 15 or so years, so I go to a um…nephew’s?...some relative’s confirmation at a catholic church. Fucking christ they (Church leaders) are offensive. This guy (the Bishop) started off not bugging me at all, seemed humble and down-to-earth. Then slowly he slipped into pushing the catholic church’s every offensive political stance (except the altar boy tarnishment doctrine) in a long speech. Pro-life, pro-march-for-life, anti-sex, anti-alcohol, anti-drug, oh and to top off the finale – begging for people to become clergy because they are low on clergy lately. Gee, perhaps if you didn’t push your extremist agenda in your ceremonies you wouldn’t turn people away from your ranks! Perhaps only child molesters can put up with your political agenda – the reward being so large as to overcome the horrid stances they have to take. By the end he was as much a caricature as the flaming designer from Beetlejuice. I sat through the damn thing, or rather sat, kneeled, stood, sat, kneeled, stood…but was much more annoyed than I would expect to be in someone else’s house at the age of 34.

I suppose listening to AM talk radio didn’t help matters any. Wackos kept me from falling asleep, but to think there are actually people who ‘think’ that way is just scary. Did you know that an illegal immigrant is the sniper, but the police being led by the monkey named Moose who is an affirmative action hire are going to frame a white male, as part of the giant conspiracy to take America away from the owners – white males?

Then came the family. It’s spooky not knowing all these people who SOMEHOW know me. They are all strangers to me, even the one’s I’ve met. How did I ever get to be so bad with people? It’s just embarrassing to be around my cousin Christopher – gee he’s outgrown the Wall Street experience and moved on to international law. He stays in London for the most part, working on the amalgamation of the new European Union. I’m barely aware of what countries that encompasses, and he’s talking about the leaders of the countries on a first-name basis. I may go to law school so I can be more of a slacker, gee I fit right in. I lost my ability to converse at all, while everyone else looked comfortable. What a boob they must think I am.

Tonight my mom comes to visit.

I don't mind those efforts if their intentions are good - but the arrogant and aggressive preaching makes me quite ill. It seems that they feel the time they spend hammering their message is more important than actually getting it across. Perhaps their fake concern for our welfare is their ticket to super-duper-heavon, and the results just don't matter.
