All work and no play make Homer Jose co grazy!

Speaking of yard sale - I have stuff to get rid of.
1. Dehumidifier. I got a new bigger one, and have an old one. Who wants, minor charge coz I could sell it on ebay.
2. CD player. Actually, I really want to fix it but it's not worth the money to do so. It's an onkyo cd player, 6 cd tray with remote. Free to someone that can use it, but if you know how to fix it so it stops skipping like mad (yes I cleaned the lens) I could pay $/liquid drugs for the help.
3. Campy old mixer that delivers minor electric shocks. It's old and metal, with my mom's old dl# etched on the back because after getting robbed we went a little nuts. I found when I was using it and leaned on the stove I got mild owie shocks through my stomach when I leaned on the stovetop. Why was I baking shirtless? Shut up and eat your cookies.

So I grew up poor and can't stand the idea of throwing things way, even before I get all reduce-reuse-recycle environmental.

Do you have a photo of the mixer or some details about the make and model? My friend [livejournal.com profile] kylecassidy collects vintage mixers, so he might be interested in it. I could always pick it up from you and take it to him. :-)

I don't, but I can. Heh - I was thinking there was a vintage market. I'd rather get to a known (or known by known) person that ebay for pennies. Um, will have to post again from home with details.

Oh, and forgot to mention a broken and bent beaters. Really, it's a sad little mixer - but it is of course from when they made things that could be repaired.

Cool! Send me an e-mail to let me know how much you want and when I can pick it up. :-)

I hear you on the eBay. Once eBay takes its pound of flesh, and PayPal takes its pound of flesh, there is not much left. It is so not worth it. That is why I prefer doing direct sales through the blogosphere and such.

Cool - done, yours. It works fine but I find they are annoyingly loud. How you get?

How much? I'm paycheck to paycheck at the moment, so that determines WHEN I get it. (as in, tomorrow, or in 3 days when I'm paid) :P

I'll pick it up at your convenience.

My building has crappy power, so I can't run it much so I hope the noise won't be a factor. I'm not recording music anymore, so some relief from the humidity would be well worth it.

It does use some juice! I dunno, like $20? Actually when to pick up is a bit odd as I'm usually in school or work. The weekend I'm around a lot. Got my #?
