Mar. 29th, 2006 07:16 amAll work and no play make Homer Jose co grazy!
Speaking of yard sale - I have stuff to get rid of.
1. Dehumidifier. I got a new bigger one, and have an old one. Who wants, minor charge coz I could sell it on ebay.
2. CD player. Actually, I really want to fix it but it's not worth the money to do so. It's an onkyo cd player, 6 cd tray with remote. Free to someone that can use it, but if you know how to fix it so it stops skipping like mad (yes I cleaned the lens) I could pay $/liquid drugs for the help.
3. Campy old mixer that delivers minor electric shocks. It's old and metal, with my mom's old dl# etched on the back because after getting robbed we went a little nuts. I found when I was using it and leaned on the stove I got mild owie shocks through my stomach when I leaned on the stovetop. Why was I baking shirtless? Shut up and eat your cookies.
So I grew up poor and can't stand the idea of throwing things way, even before I get all reduce-reuse-recycle environmental.

Date: 2006-03-29 12:53 pm (UTC)Oh, and forgot to mention a broken and bent beaters. Really, it's a sad little mixer - but it is of course from when they made things that could be repaired.

Date: 2006-03-29 03:05 pm (UTC)I'll pick it up at your convenience.
My building has crappy power, so I can't run it much so I hope the noise won't be a factor. I'm not recording music anymore, so some relief from the humidity would be well worth it.
