I'm ok with the fag-flip, but the fauxhawk has to fucking go. When did this thing appear on project runway, and why? How can I trust the fashion sense of someone who dons a fauxhawk? Wearing one earns you a genuine cubic zirconia up your ass.

Isn't using links from wikipedia in lieu of words trendy?

The big ones are lame, but I occasionally sported a mini chickenhawk, which just meant spikey hair that pointed inwards. I don't know if that counts.

Spikey hair that points forward, with some lift in front. See also short hair all around, with some long gelled stuff in front. See i.e. me about a year ago.

Well, if you think it's every preppie boy's haircut then I think that's the one. My hairdresser called it the fag flip, before it was quite so mainstream.

I saw one of these faux hawks you speak of on a kid who couldn't have been older than eight. On him cute, on anyone much older, ugh.

I don't like fag flip that much, but I have seen alot of little kids get fauxhawks. I think its cool if they get a true mohawk, but it just looks wierd if the keep their hair and go with a fauxhawk. And older kids used to have fauxhawk in my judo class. Then another kid dyed his hair baby blue.
