That was odd. Last night I thought I had a light buzz from 2 irish cremes. Woke up predictably tired this AM, but when I arrived at work I got slammed with an insane hangover. I was dead from about 7:30 to 11 or so. Now I feel fine. I'm so very confused about that. I would understand getting drunk easy since I haven't been drinking much (miss my club) but a hangover w/o getting drunk? From milk?

To catch the end of my hangover (I explained I was feeling sick) I was in a meeting in which it was revealed that they will not be replacing any of our administrative personnel. Any of them. We will be redistributing all administrative work amongst HQ staff. One day a week I'll be paid my GS-13 salary to be a secretary. This is supposed to save money? The same people making that decision are the ones complaining that we are not meeting timelines. I'm sure with less people we'll do much better in that department.

This weekend a bunch of people came in and moved people around again, without notice. That's how I wound up across the street, just was told one day I'd be here. That's also how they allocate furniture and the like - you're not even consulted.

One of these damn jobs better come through...I'm so not staying here if I can get out.

This is the way my agency operates, too. It's deeply, deeply stupid.

That's odd...I too had a glass of Carolan's irish creme last night and was wasted for no reason at all.

They just moved you across the street without telling you in advance? That would annoy the crap out of me.
