Run from me. Run, and never look back. All of my favorite shoutcast radio stations go off the air. I fall in love with one, and they die. I replace them with another which I grow to appreciate, and they are gone. If I like it, that is a good indicator there isn't enough of an audience, even on the internet, to sustain it. My favorite restaurants were Armand's in Alexandria (closed, now Tequila Grill), Taco House (closed), Atami (closed and burned), and Cafe Dalat (closed, burned, ground salted). My favorite source for PPG icons is off the net (http://www.vc-net.ne.jp/~kerorin/powerpuff/). My favorite club night was Chiarioscuro (closed). They stop making or selling my favorite foods. My taste is just a good indicator that no more will follow. What does this mean for my friends?

well, as much as that sux, you have only consumer ignorance coupled with too many lawmakers in the pockets of organizations like the RIAA to thank. until the consuming public starts making their collective oppinions known about charges applied to small netradio sites, drm, fair use, p2p, etc. it's only going to get worse.

still to come: drm built into processors. if big media doesn't want you to record something, then you will not be able to.. (you can expect to start hearing wispers maybe this coming year).

You see bad, I see good. Perhaps people will turn away from corporate crap and support the study of music themselves, or support local artists. Eh, just kidding.

Oh! Good? Maybe it's a work thing - they block odd areas of the net.
