It's not just me. I was thinking of putting a tabletop classic pac-man game in place of a dining room table, because I'm a boy, and I bopped onto ebay to see if my pinball machine showed up. A bit of simple net research later and I realized that my love for the XENON pinball machine was hardly unique - in fact it is a source of many net sites, including information about the woman who put together the sexy voices for the thing! I was wrong - I thought the cross-the-playfield tube was the unique aspect of the game, in fact most people credit that alluring voice as the first use of such a synthesizer in a video game.
I just downloaded a video on the making of the sounds by Suzanna Ciani. It's SPOOKY hearing her voice and seeing her compose the thing. The video is a serious old-school synth hard-on for you synthy types. I don't know what language it is in, but you can skip around to just watch the parts where sounds are played with on ancient equipment. She totally works like a phone-sex operator.

No, this is not helping get my paper done. But I now own a video on the making of the sex-sounds for the 1980 pinball machine that sits in my living room. I feel like I should offer up a site on my pinball machine - I love reading about it on-line, and could offer pics to others through the web. It's a strange sort of urge to share that joy.
