vicarzDoes anyone have a power supply for a Dell Inspirion 1100 I can borrow? Mine died last night. I went online to order one from dell, because I'm an idiot. The thing was $50 (on sale!). I chose 3-5 day shipping because a classmate thought he could grab one at work. I got a prompt email from Dell telling me my power cord would be shipped on December 5. A friggin power cord.
So I run into the guy who was going to try to get me the cord, and it turns out they don't buy inspirion laptops because they keep changing parts - including the power cord. To be completely cliché, they switched from square to round cords, so I am litterally stuck trying to put a round peg in a square hole. Icing on the cake: I can get the thing for $20 on ebay here, but I'm not allowed to buy/shop while at work because if I spend 30 seconds of valuable government time and bandwidth god will hate america.
