So I voted for the lesser evil. Most of the elections were uncontested with a Dem running. I voted a straight demo ticket - only for lack of choice. I really don't like Kaine, but he struck me as less dangerous than Kilgore.

I wonder how many people would vote if they realized the election was about more than gay abortions?

Wait, wouldn't the republicans be for aborting gays?

hehe, looks like we did the same thing. Was your polling place as dead as mine? I walked right in, showed voter card, made my selection and walked out.

It was, though I voted at like 6:30ish AM so I wasn't surprised it was so dead. There was one person ahead of me.

On the other hand, there were two people handing out literature right at the door of the polling place - a democrat and a republican. I'm pretty sure that's not legal, even if both sides are doing it. I might be wrong though - they revised the law to allow putting up campaign signs on public throughways.

Good for you though!

yeah, I went at 1 p.m., I thought there'd at least be a lunch time rush.
