VA voting is on Tuesday - do your research now so you'll be ready. No whining about not having a candidate who doesn't reflect your exact philosphy on virtually every issue - a standard people don't even hold their best friends to. It takes 10 minutes to maybe an hour (with commute). Vote for the lesser evil. While you're at it, make friends with a lesser evil.

Candidate list: List

Post coverage (requires registration): Post stuff

(idea stolen from Kangal who stole it from someone else)

I'm voting. I'm ready. I wish Leslie Byrne was running for the top job though...

Thanks for posting this. I sorted out my voter registration problems yesterday (moving confusion) so I am all ready to go. More people need to get out their and vote. We live in dangerous times and that makes voting rather important.

(And I am beginning to think I am just babbling now...I think I need more sleep)

Thanks for the good words, and for the Post link. Found this graphic (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/nation/daily/graphics/redblue2004_110804.html) while flipping through the links. Makes me able to breathe a little easier about living around here. It's as if the blue dots are healthy alveoli, and the out-lying red are cancer cells.

I think the patient can be saved.
