Shit. I know a girl in my law-class who has more experience than I do in MSPB, EEOC, and other hearings - she works in Homeland Security. She applied for the same job that I did in the NLRB. She may well be better qualified in some areas. I doubt she has a MA or ten years government experience, but who knows what else she has outside of her law experience. Fuckity fuck fuck. Glad I know she's an applicant.

When did I buy into the system?
When did I go from hating part-timers in the clubs to mocking people without "real" jobs?
When did I stop watching what I spent, finding much money normal and comfortable?
Why do my goals in the gym keep going up, when met to be replaced with new goals?
Is it a good mix since I'm not eyes on the prize, modest goals by my standards?

Tracie just called me while I was trying to dive into this line of thought. She's got a boyfriend, thinking of settling down. I've thought of doing just one post of all the insane shit I've gone through with that one friend - probably the friend who treated me shittier than any other, and I've had some shitty ass friends. She...settling down. Cokehead Tracie. Age is a funny thing.

You probably bought into the system, et cetera, et cetera 'round about the time you realized that life is easier, freer, and much more pleasant when you're healthy and financially stable.
