Look out for this entitlement thought pattern:
Whatever I want, I need. Whatever I need, I deserve. Whatever I deserve, I have a right to have. Whatever is my right, I can do anything to get.
You could sum this up as: Invention is the mother of necessity.
This applies to lawyers and sycophants in particular.

Perhaps dieting while ditching (most) caffeine on a whim was not such a hot idea. I'm quite cranky.

a) video games are always to blame. What are not to blame are parents, or the new economy which requires two parents to work rather than raise children.
b) which american dream? Entitlement? That people with tvs and cell-phones are poor? That success is measured financially? By comparison to a visible neighbor? By comparison to a "star?"
