I warn everyone I am probably going to be prone to many short posts per day for a bit.

My statistical sampling has led me to the conclusion that when someone promises to love you forever, that the term "forever" is apparently some sort of metaphor for the time-frame of 2 years.

Hmmm...working backwards...(4.5 to date, .9, .8, 1.2, 1.4)...avg. 8.4/5 = 1.82 -base 12-) or 1 year 8 months. Your statistics seem to be good, though I notice a shift in trend as we get older...and, perhaps, potential liaisons decrease in availability?

I think maturity and exposure have a lot to do with it. I no longer feel obligated to act on virtually every opportuity, and I have greatly refined what I consider an opportunity.
