When I'm sick there is nothing else in the world. There is only sick, the work that is piling up while I'm ineffective, my expanding girth as my appetite says heal me with food and coke while my body says all energies to fight the sick. I can almost breathe w/o drugs today, taking drugs anyway...there is nothing in life but the desire to not be sick, followed quickly by the impending fear of doom as my work piles up...
