Oct. 11th, 2004 01:03 pmI had a wonderful day yesterday and the day before, which make for shitty LJ entries. If you want to read LJ stuff, I suggest going elsewhere to catch up on politics, people who care that an actor died, and pictures. I went to boxing, cocktails, then Chairschool.
Kel and I went hiking god-knows-where. The day was friggin gorgeous for the drive, and a wrong-turn led to pumpkins so big you could fuck them. Yeah baby. Lots of Kerry signs in the hills of MD.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect under the trees - warm enough for shorts, just cool enough for not sweating even at a brisk pace. Once or twice we veered sideways to climb rocks and wonder if that hole was big enough to hide a bear. I wasn't scared of bears because I don't think they're cannibals. The path was scarcely populated, and the bugs were minimal. We found a toad and now I feel much better about my complexion. About the path being scarcely populated - we probably should have noted the sun descending in the sky, for even at double-time the march back ended in the dark with much stumbling over rocks. I tried to hold back the
and monster behind us jokes, and Kel helped with by occasionally clubbing me with nature's goodness in the form of wood - which helped me engage in restraint.
We talked tons - I love talking to Kel because neither one of us has some social agenda that we feel the need to fulfill. We're friends, we know each other, and bounce off of each other pretty well. Now that I've talked for a whole day or two, I'm kinda done. I think I post more when I feel I need to talk, now I've talked, listened, and for god's sake EXCHANGED.
Don't watch "The forgotten" unless you really miss the X-Files. Zzzzzz
There's nothing to write. Kel and I walked, and talked, and it was nice. Not much to report there, not much LJish. Misery = LJ and good writing.
