I talked to my neighbor about politics today (notice since school started all my posts are about politics and school). He's the Army guy who had his office destroyed on 9/11 when the pentagon was hit (he was on the other side of the building as fate would have it) and subsequently attended around 40 funerals. He pointed out that he has a Bush sticker on his car - but pointed it out to say that he had to put it there because of his boss. Yes it's illegal, get over it - it happens. Anyway, he's pro-Kerry, anti Bush, and noted that Kerry served while Bush didn't. He said he hasn't seen a whole lot of Bush stickers in the Pentagon parking lot.

I've been debating whether or not to put a sticker on. I hate stickers on my car until it's officially a clunker. I don't understand the mentality of someone who seeks a name plastered on a wall and suddenly think they should vote for them. Who wins - the one with the most stickers? Are people picking the president, which is supported behind a curtain when you vote, based on who they think the winner will be?

"Who's your favorite team?"
"Whoever wins the superbowl, of course!"
