I don't think it's just bands - I used to work in a cube next to a guy that begged so much, SO MUCH, that it embarrassed me as a male. "Aw baby, naw that's not what I mean, no baby you got me all wrong - it's not about taht, no baby, aw baby no you gotta listen to me, baby please..." They used to call him "free-lunch." Last I heard he was using the jesus/bible angle to try and score, even became a Deacan. Substitute baby with Jesus and bible-says and you've got the new 'baby.'

HHAHAHHAH I LOVE that song... it's a very Asian song. Asian in that every Asian I know loves that song. It's got all the right elements, cutsy girl voice, wailing guy voice, cheesy electro melody, and an 80's breakbeat rhythm. That's funny cuz I was just listening to that song before I read your post. Do you like that Sarina Paris song (Look at Us)? That one has great lyrics as well :)
