And the guy was fired, not taken to court for theft. Sheesh.

With my provider, I pay like $22 a month and can have up to 10 email addresses. I can add and delete them at will. I added a few at once, didn't use them, didn't sign up for anything, but the next DAY they were already getting spam. WTF? How did they get my addresses?

I'm thinking that spammers have lists of common email names, and send them to all identified domains. Most bounce, but many get through. JimBob@AnyServer.com probably gets spammorific mail.
