Ok - when I post lyrics, it's not a challenge to look them up and find out what the song is. It's not winning you cool points to show that not only do you not know the song nor share any of the relevant period memories with me, but that you misunderstand the entire concept of nostalgia so bad that you do a google search and spout something and expect a fucking prize. Yes, I know you can find everything on the net. Yes, I realize that Mary Hopkins is available on CD now. Yes, they split Bites & Remission into two CDS. Yes, Fred Schneider was the singer from the B52s. You're only pissing me off by pointing this out when the intent was to see if anyone else goes "OMFG I used to love that song! We were so high! Can you believe we weren't arrested that one night by the pond? Did you hear about Sheri?"

This is not a passive-aggressive attack, just a thought. No one has done this to me in ages. Just thought I'd mention...

Y'know, I think I might even have drawn the line on the uncropped version of this photo BEFORE I got married.

Also, I discovered over Xmas that my mother in law reads my journal, and that pretty much kills your hopes, there.

Also - as you well know - it's a cleverly cropped pic, and wouldn't be nearly so hot if it weren't. :)

Mother in law reads your journal ... that's why I generally post friends-only, with a public post once in a while so the non-friends know I'm still alive. Heh.
