a humourous article i read a while back (can't recollect where) was pointing out that most people overestimate their attractiveness.
they took a group of people - had them rate themselves and then farmed out the photos and had other people rate the photos then calculated the results.
i think this says a lot for personality adding to the "beauty" of a person.
i meet so many girls who say "oh- he really has a thing for me" and when you talk to the guy he's like "she's ok, i'd fuck her but i don't really want to get to know her"
