Unnecessary criticism: Is it me or do the dumbest people have the most 'ornate' descriptions in their LJs? They all sing of super-spiritual crap and lament how no one understands them. Uh, duh...you have nothing of interest to say and can't write. Doesn't anyone consider themselves dumb? Does the possibility occur? Seriously, look at random LJs...coz all of our friends are brilliant and this doesn't apply to them < /pussy >

It's not just you noticing this. A lot of people think that being deliberately vague makes them sound more intellectual/spiritual/"deep", hence the indecipherable messages they're putting out. At least I admit that I'm shallow and rather boring (in the written form at least).

and I've argued that you're not shallow and boring. You just don't put much out in public. You're fairly complex, a fact you don't advertise or try to exaggerate with sloppy vague writing, ornate costumes, or complex choreographed dance moves...oh wait...

I think that some people think that being mysterious is better than being smart. Especially young people, they don't seem to realize that it just makes them seem creepy to real people. I mean until I started reading your live journal I didn't think live journal was for anything but emo kids and whiners. (yes that may have been repeating myself) The only other person I know that has a live journal uses it for whining.

I should go back to bed and try getting up on the other side.
